Coming to a website near you ...
Yeah, it's been a few months since I posted anything to the website. Yes, I've been busy, but that isn't the reason for the apparent lack in activity. So, you ask, just what is the damn problem?
I've been busy finishing several new house designs, that's what. It's taking longer because I've raised my own personal bar on what is "finished" versus what used to be considered "finished". Now I have to have landscaping (though I'm no landscape architect), and the house renderings must have furnishings, plants, etc. Of course, I'm not an interior designer, either. Actually, I'm a software architect/developer, and all this house stuff is just a hobby. All these new details take a great deal of time, and care, and attention to detail. A lot of time. (You have no idea!) But the effect appears worth the effort.
Over the weekend I sent off some images to HomeDesignerSoftware.com for them to post on the user's page. Why now and not before? Well, previously no one else had posted to the user's web page (on the site) except one of their "professionals". My work, just to be honest, doesn't quite compare with the professional. However, just within the past few weeks other users have braved silent criticism and posted images of their house designs. (OK, that makes me somewhat chicken**it, but that's just how it is.)
So, I have decided to finish out the 5 designs I have ready to post to my own website, and get the site updated to reflect the changes. I may promise myself I will finish out the 10 or so other designs I have been working on, but progress will probably not be much faster than the recent past. There are only so many hours. That said, I do have some interesting stuff in the pipeline, and I do want to get it posted. Just because I think it's cool.
So, visit RLAEnterprises.net in the next couple of days, and you will see some changes (for the better, I hope).
